Learning How to Crawl

1. The National Champion Neck

I was always good at holding up my head during tummy time. People would say that I had a national champion neck.

2. The Engine Rev (Sept. 17)

Have you seen this video of me revving my engine? I’m ready to move!

3. The High Plank (Sept. 27)

At about six months, I turned into a yoga baby. My first move was the high plank.

4. Downward Dawg

My high plank soon turned into a downward dawg.

5. The Backwards Boy

Next, I finally started moving, but I would unintentionally push myself backwards! I kept getting stuck under furniture like the couch and chairs. Ugh, so frustrating!

6. The Fish

To this day, I still flop like a fish. It doesn’t get me anywhere, but that doesn’t mean I won’t stop trying!

7. The wounded soldier (Oct. 19)

Then, on a random Wednesday night, I finally did it! I could crawl! I only know how to do it by using my right arm to pull myself forward while the rest of my body kind of drags behind. Some call it the “Army Crawl.” My mom calls it the “Wounded Soldier.” Whatever the name is doesn’t matter to me! I’m just happy that I can finally move! All y’all better watch out for the J-Man!
